Coerver® First Soccer Skills

First Soccer Skills is Coerver® Coaching’s market-leading proposition to parents of beginner players, ages 4-7. First Soccer Skills is more EDUCATIONAL, more EFFECTIVE, and more FUN than any other introductory soccer skills program. FIRST SOCCER SKILLS builds the essential foundations young players need before they step into organized, competitive team play.

The Coerver® Foundation Pyramid has 4 components:

· Skills (Basic Ball Mastery, and simple 1v1 Moves)

· Speed (particularly mental reaction speed)

· Shooting (kicking technique)

· Small-sided games (2v2/3v3)

First Soccer Skills mission is:

· To help children develop self-confidence and a love of soccer

· To develop important foundation skills with a focus on ball mastery, striking/shooting, and how to play in small-sided games

· To develop listening skills, extended concentration, speedy reactions, as well as core social skills of communication and cooperation

· TO HAVE FUN!

End of Summer ADVANCED PERFORMANCE CAMP - Uptown New Orleans

Coerver Louisiana is hosting a Coerver® Advanced Performance Camp from 9:00am to 3:00pm from July 27 - 31, 2026 at the Ursuline Academy Athletic Complex.

This Advanced Performance Soccer Camp is available for boys and girls aged between 6-14 years. Unlike other camps, this camp will be staffed entirely by current and former College Soccer Players. The Coerver® Advanced Performance Soccer Camp couples more complicated moves with the Coerver® Skills Bridge to allow young players to be in the right environment to be able execute new techniques under game-like scenarios. Throughout the program, players will be challenged to develop bilateral skills because Coerver® Kids do not have a weak foot. In addition, each camp day will include indoor Futsal instruction by trained futsal staff coaches. Each Camp Day will end by putting players into competitive games with an emphasis on 1v1 or 2v2 play.

This camp will utilize outdoor grass facilities as well as air conditioned indoor facilities to provide a variety of instruction environments and to avoid concerns about the weather.
